By accessing or using DipLangs (“the Service”) at diplangs.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

DipLangs is an AI-powered language learning platform offering reading, writing, listening, speaking, grammar, vocabulary, and story modules to help users prepare for language exams. Features vary by subscription plan.

3. Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You must provide accurate information during registration.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscription Plans & Payments

• Free plan users are subject to monthly usage limits per module.
• Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis as selected at checkout.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Payments are processed by DODO Payments. By subscribing you also agree to their terms of service.
• Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate access to the Service.
• Share your account credentials with others.
• Submit harmful, offensive, or misleading content through AI features.
• Circumvent plan limits through technical means.

6. AI-Generated Content

DipLangs uses AI (OpenAI) to generate explanations, feedback, and content. AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate. It is provided for educational guidance only and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional language instruction.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on DipLangs — including lessons, questions, design, and code — is owned by DipLangs or its licensors. You may not reproduce or redistribute it without written permission. Your own submitted content (e.g. practice answers) remains yours.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will always be accurate.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DipLangs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and applicable member state law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of the jurisdiction of the data controller.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice.
